Dude, that was quite a big dog! Did you hug it? Was it really as furry as it looks? Did it drag you by your leg?

Wow. I love how the dog is looking into the light, against the wind and his shadow for a nice contrast of direction.

Nice photo! I really like this one.

If you're turning this into a photoblog, why not place the EXIF info aswell? that'd be nice.

    That dog looks really furry!

  6. Dunstan:

I do plan to add in EXIF data at some point, but I need to do a bit more research on it before I start putting in the effort of tagging everything.

And it's not 'turning into a photoblog', I'm just posting more photos than before. Rather than have blank days, where I don't post writing, I'm filling in the gaps with pictures :o)

It was big, and it was furry, and yes, both the GF and I gave it a hug. It was impossible not to :o)

Just yanking your chain ;-) Php5 seems to offer some nice possibilities.

I love the pictures, but more "story of the picture" would be nice. Otherwise all you see is "great picture"-posts. (which, then again, isn't necessarily a bad thing)

What is this EXIF you speak of?

Lots of info out there on it, Gregg:

Thanks Dunstan. I actually googled it after I commented, but I appreciate the links. I think I will try to implement this (atleast partially) on my photoblog.

Looks like a St Bernard to me. Lovely colors in the photo btw and EXIF date would be great (not that I'm nosey or anything).

    Actually I think it's a Landseer Newfoundland.

    Very nice photo.

It's a Newfoundland. My friend has 2 that look exactly like it. They're awesome dogs.

    And I love the picture.
