Unfortunately not, Simon. I'm going to be working in the UK office for 6 months, and then (and only then) will I qualify for an L1B visa, which will let me transfer to the US office.

The H1B visa passed me by...

I tested your live search in IE 6 sp2 and it works fine, also in firefox 1.0, Netscape 7 and the latest mozilla build (all windows), perfect in them all. The only problem i encountered was it not working in Opera 7.54, however the fallback form-post option worked fine (clever catch there very impressed!).

Not tested it on a mac though, but very impressive non the less!

AFAIK, Apple doesn't have an explicit policy about blogs or else. Apple has NDAs and their employees' judgement to decide how what where they do.
For your info, here is a list of know Apple's employees who have blogs
http://seriot.ch/AppleBlogs (text in French, URLs in standard web exploitable format ;-) )
(disclosure: I am an Apple employee, and have one of these -personal and family related though- blog thingies)

PS: Dunstan, your nifty spell checker doesn't like my spelling of "Judgment" but the Oxford says its a variant, and acceptable. So I'll stick with it.
